With Spring Break and warm weather just over the horizon for the Dixie team, we have been dreaming all things tropical. This table from our Paper Petals Plates Tablescape Series oozes beach vacation vibes, and its design inspiration began with Holly Hollon’s Naples Wedding Suite (pictured at the bottom of this post). Holly designed this suite with not only a Palmetto Bluff wedding in mind, but also thinks it would be perfectly suited for a Florida tropics wedding.
Kathleen Cook Varner of Edna K. Designs seamlessly transitioned Holly’s paper designs onto this tablescape. Kathleen designed a table with the ability to transport guests to their own personal tropical oasis. Also the table’s florist, Kathleen incorporated the palms from Holly’s designs and mixed them with ferns and a very subtle amount of soft pink and white floral flourishes in the towering centerpiece.
The Heather Chadduck table linen beautifully showcases a palm-like graphic that grounds the handcrafted Susan Gordon Pottery salad and dinner plates. Susan Gordon also creatively utilized the graceful heron crest in the Naples collection onto coasters. The stunning pink glassware finishes off the table with a sophisticated and modern touch.
