Q&A with Mary Glenn:

Which card from your Tastemaker Suite will you be sending out to friends and family this holiday?

I’ll be sending the vines and wreath from my collection. I love how it is neutral and understated with a festive feel. I loved designing my holiday suite this year. I approached the process like I do my wardrobe when starting a new season, by pulling inspiration images. I love a neutral color palette and think around the holidays especially, a neutral card stands out. My suite is classic and polished, just like my style!

What do you love most about the holiday season?

I love getting together and catching up with my high school friends. I am so lucky that we have all stayed so close and that everyone comes home for the holidays!

What is your favorite tradition?

We always spend Christmas morning at my parents’ house and it is so comforting being in my childhood home with my parents and my brothers (and our spouses!).

What is your go-to holiday hostess gift?

You can never go wrong with a good candle and a cute box of matches.

What kind of holiday shopper are you – Black Friday, Christmas Eve or year long stasher?

I’m a little bit of both! If I find the perfect gift for someone, I don’t wait for the holidays to buy it but I am also always scrambling the week before Christmas to finish my holiday shopping.

What brings you a sense of calm during the busy holiday season?

Holidays can be so busy! I love taking a moment to go on a walk with my husband and our dog to disconnect from all of the hustle and bustle of the season.

Are you team real tree or faux tree?

Real tree! I love the smell of a Christmas tree and the whole process of going to pick out a tree and decorating it is so special.

What was the process like designing your holiday suite with the Dogwood Hill team? What was your favorite part about the process?

I had such a great experience working with the Dogwood Hill team on my holiday suite. My favorite part of the process was seeing my suite go from inspiration images and initial ideas to the final product. I am so pleased with the collection and hope everyone else loves the designs as much as I do!

Who is your dream holiday party guest? If applicable, please share their Instagram handles.

This is a hard one! I’ve been inspired by Sofia Richie lately so I think she would be at the top of the list.

What are you most thankful for this year?

This year has been one for the books! It was definitely a growing year for me and my business and I am so excited to see what’s in store for next year.
