Continuing our summer Artist Catch-Up Series, today we are excited to feature the talented Dogwood Hill artist Shanna Masters! Shanna is a a native Texan, and and the interior designer-turned-artist behind Shanna Masters Designs. She has loved drawing and painting since toddlerhood, and started painting in watercolor at age eight. Shanna’s beautiful botanicals and adorable canine illustrations appear throughout many Dogwood Hill pieces. In fact, Shanna’s little King Charles Cavalier illustrations pictured above are a preview of some new artwork we will be releasing later this fall!
In her free time, Shanna enjoys hitting the gym, kayaking, photography, baking, reading shelter magazines and design books, and visiting museums, gardens, and historic homes. Shanna lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, Daryl, and golden doodle pup, Bentley. Enjoy our quick Q&A correspondence with Shanna below to read what she has on her summer bucket list and learn her favorite iced summer beverage.
We have also included some of our favorite products featuring Shanna’s artwork at the bottom of this post.
