When her six-old-daughter, Carlisle, requested a chocolate-covered strawberry birthday party, Becca Hemrick’s creative wheels started spinning ideas for an afternoon of classic yard games, oodles of picnic-style treats, and a chocolate fountain all decorated with a a ‘berry sweet’ party theme. Dixie artist Gina Langford’s Berry Sweet Collection was the perfect match for this adorable birthday celebration.
Becca pulled out all of the stops in planning this party! We had a hard time narrowing down our favorite details, because each one is ever-so-thoughtful and age appropriate for a strawberry-loving little girl! Be sure not to miss the brightly colored bouquets, the sprawling balloon garland, the adorable table settings, the strawberry piñata, the picnic basket party favors, and to top it off, the coordinating mother-daughter strawberry party dresses!
With all of the activities Becca had planned for Carlise’s young guests, fun was to be had around every corner as you will see below! Rebecca set up a coloring station of strawberry printables, a temporary tattoo station, an apple bobbing station, sack races, corn hole, as well as plenty of tasty treats like the chocolate fountain dipping station, on-theme iced cookies and a multi-layered strawberry cake.
We have included the sources for the party below. Continue scrolling to see all of the thoughtful details that went into this ‘berry sweet’ birthday.
