Our team is currently trudging through the ‘dog days of summer’ down in Birmingham, Alabama. These long humid days have all of us constantly on the hunt for the coolest gathering spots to escape the heat. Of course an icy cold beverage (preferably with a twist of lime!) in hand doesn’t hurt either! Our Creative Consultant, Holly Hollon’s chic screened-in porch is just what we have in mind to achieve our mid-July cool-down! Holly, along with Dogwood Hill’s Marketing Director Casey Snipes styled the most adorable summer soiree in Holly’s rattan-clad porch along with an envy-inducing bar cart decked out in all of the necessities for a citrus-infused drink!

Dogwood Hill artist Inslee Farris’ Exotic Chintz collection was the inspiration for this soiree’s punchy and floral styling details. We love how Holly and Casey even used Inslee’s design as a wine bottle cover! All of the beautiful spun fiberglass furniture pieces are from Mary and Wilma, a local “Floridian” home decor shop. We have linked the other source items below in case you are inspired to throw your own summer soirée before the chaotic days of fall arrive!
