This bold and colorful tablescape inspired by our Bougainvillea wedding suite has us ready for paradise! The vibrant mix of bright purple hydrangeas, hot pink and tropicana roses with deep yellow floral accents surrounding a large palm in the centerpiece gives the perfect festive, tropical air to the table. Table designer and Birmingham-based wedding planner Handley McCrory paired Marigold Design’s colorful floral arrangements with equally vivid placesettings. Handley mixes various shades of teal, fuchsia, yellow, and ice blue Herend gold-rimmed chargers with Anna Weatherley’s gold banded dinner plates. Gold flatware and crisp blue linen napkins finish off the place setting and we also loved the bright green glassware that was the final punch of color to top this table.
Dogwood Hill artist Gina Langford’s Bougainvillea flowering vine illustrations certainly came to life in the design of this table at our Paper Petals Plates event. Bougainvillea pairs Gina’s colorful budding floral crest with graphic blue and white stripes throughout the wedding suite alongside clean and classic typography. We love to envision a vivacious bride who has never shied away from making bold, sophisticated statements using this suite as her wedding paper.
