We are so crazy about the first birthday party our Creative Director, Holly Hollon, threw for her sweet little girl, Biscuit. With these gorgeous photos and interview with Holly about how she planned such a fun birthday bash, you’ll be inspired to plan your own birthday or summer party!

Being a stationery designer, for months I had been dreaming up ideas for Biscuit’s first birthday, but as her summer birthday was approaching I knew I wanted to do a fun tropical backyard party. I was all ready for summer and loving palm trees and pink. I had some yard flamingos in the basement for years waiting for their moment and thought they would be a cute addition to the party. My dad set up a mini golf course in which the flamingos marked all the holes, he even made mini wooden putters for the kids at the party. Creative Sweets & Treats made the most adorable cookies to match the invites and my mom made her famous strawberry cupcakes.

You can now order Biscuit’s birthday design on our website for your summer party and coordinate with stationery as well.  For a $50 fee you can purchase the monogram art to print cups, napkins and koozies.
